Scrambled Tofu

Do you miss scrambled eggs? Make a substitute with tofu. Tip! Add some kala namak (black salt) for a similar eggy taste.

Ingredients

4 servings

  • 14 oz / 400 g firm tofu
  • 2 tbsp rapeseed oil
  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup / 1 dl / 100 ml finely chopped chives
  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast

Instructions

  1. Use a fork to crumble the tofu.
  2. Add the oil to a frying pan, fry tofu on medium-high heat.
  3. After a few minutes, add nutrient yeast, turmeric and salt.
  4. Cook for a few more minutes.
  5. Garnish with chives and additional yeast.
