Movesum – The Step Counter App

  • Get motivated to move
  • Walk off your calories
  • Lose weight

Movesum is the step counter app that shows how many calories you burned, and what food represents the same amount of calories. Get motivated to exercise by connecting how much you walk with the things you eat!

What will a step counter app help me with?

A step counter app tracks your steps via your smartphone and typically sets a goal on how many steps to reach per day. Most commonly the goal lies between 5000-10 000 steps daily, depending on what exercises you perform on top of walking.

Movesum, on the other hand, additionally shows an image of food with the equal amount of calories you’ve burned off while walking. That way you learn how much you need to walk to burn of a beer/burger/dessert (hint: it takes quite a while and is not an efficient weight loss method) and get motivated to stay away from processed, calorie-dense foods.

How is the pedometer app connected to Lifesum?

Movesum is an additional app you can connect with your Lifesum account, to track activity and calories burned automatically. You can switch it on in Lifesum’s Plan Store!

I have tried many different calorie counting apps and have never been able to stick to them. However, I have been using lifesum for a while now and am absolutely loving it!! I even bought the premium version! The design of the app is beautiful and easy to use.

I absolutely loooove this app to track my macros. I’ve been doing it for a month and it has helped so much with staying on track. I also have an Apple Watch so it helps showing the calories I’ve burned as well. Absolutely love it and highly recommend it!! *****

I can’t believe all the options in the food diary there are. Like, even generic food options from my local grocery store. I like the food plans it has an option, it has synced to my Fitbit, and has been user friendly. I’m excited to see how this plays out. I’m always a skeptic, but off to a great start!
