You can filter through recipes based on the number of calories you want to consume, how long they take to make, whether they are breakfast, lunch, dinner or a snack, and a whole lot more!
It’s also possible to create and save your own recipes. Open up the Menu tab in the app and select ‘Favorites’. Clicking the ‘+’ in the top right hand corner of the screen gives you the option to create a new item, and you can click ‘Create a Recipe’ to put together a recipe so that you can see all the nutritional information for it, and can easily track it in your diary.
Recipes aren’t all you can create either. You can also create foods, meals and exercises. Let’s talk about foods and meals.
You can create foods a number of different ways; you can use the barcode scanner when you’re at the store to scan a food that isn’t already in the app. Once you’ve scanned and the item hasn’t been found, you’ll be prompted to add a new food item and then you’ll enter the name of the food along with all the nutritional information and the recommended serving size. Once you’ve added the food, you can track it whenever you need to. You can also create a food the same way you create a recipe simply going into your ‘Favorites’ to find it.
Meals work the same way; create them in ‘Favorites’, adding a name and photo for the meal, along with the foods that make up the meal. You can also simply use photo tracking to take an image of a meal and add in the additional details when prompted.
