Who says you can’t have a sandwich when you’re on a no-carb diet? Well whoever they are, they’re wrong – we’ve got the perfect sandwich for when carbs just won’t do:

What you need:
4 portobello mushrooms
1 tbsp olive oil
1 avocado
0.5 tsp chili powder
0.5 cup spinach
1 beef tomato, sliced
3,5 oz / 100 g smoked turkey, sliced

What you do:
Heat the oven to 200 C / 392 F. Toss the portobello mushrooms in olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Roast in the oven 20-25 min until the portobello is starting to look nice and juicy. Mash the avocado in a bowl and season with some salt and chili. Fill your portobello sandwich with mashed avocado, spinach, tomatoes and turkey slices.
