Apple Pie Mug Cake with Cinnamon Frosting

What's better than apple pie? This warm and delicious recipe that's easy to make and fits conveniently in a mug! Try it for yourself this week.

Ingredients

4 servings

  • 1,25 dl (40g) oats, grounded to a flour
  • 1 tbsp coconut flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp stevia
  • 0,5 tsp cardamum
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract/powder
  • 1 tbsp quark*
  • 2 egg whites
  • 2,5 tbsp unsweetened apple sauce
  • 2,5 tbsp unsweetened almond milk (or the milk of your choice)
  • 0,5 small apple (50g)
  • 150 g quark*
  • 2-3 tsp stevia
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 4 tbsp unsweetened almond milk (or the milk of your choice)

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients, except for apples, using a portable blender or food processor.
  2. Chop the apple and stir into the batter. Pour the batter into a greased large mug or bowl.
  3. Cook in the microwave for 1-2 minutes. Check to make sure it do not overflow.
  4. Mix together the ingredients for the frosting. Tilt the mug cake on a plate and top with frosting and a little bit of cinnamon.
