Dark Chocolate Bark

A treat you can carry on the go! This bark contains ginger to help soothe nausea and other beneficial nutrients like iron, zinc, and fiber.

  • 200 g dark chocolate
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped ginger
  • 50 g coconut flakes
  • 75 g dried cranberries
  • 1 tsp sea salt


  1. Chop the chocolate into small chunks.

  2. Melt half the amount of chocolate in a microwave or in a heat-proof bowl over a pan of hot water.

  3. Add the remaining chocolate and stir until smooth.

  4. Add the chopped ginger.

  5. Spread the chocolate onto some parchment paper and top with coconut flakes, cranberries and sea salt.

  6. Leave to cool and break into snack-sized pieces to serve.
