Chocolate Black Bean Smoothie

What a treat, cold to help with nausea and rich with iron, calcium, folate, Vitamin C, Vitamin D (if using a fortified milk), and zinc.

Ingredients

1 servings

  • 1 banana
  • 60 g cooked black beans
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 140 ml unsweetened plant-based milk

Instructions

  1. Cut the banana into slices and freeze, or use fresh bananas and ice.

  2. Mix all the ingredients in a blender until smooth. Ready to serve!
