Ingredients

  • 350 g optional mixed nuts (eg hazelnuts, almonds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds)
  • ⅔ cup shredded coconut
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 3 tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla powder
  • pinch of salt
  • 3 tsp agave syrup
  • 2 eggs
  • 80 g dark chocolate

Instructions

  1. Set the oven at 350°F. Melt the coconut oil, then mix all the ingredients in a food processor, a few seconds at a time so you can still enjoy some of that chunky goodness.
  2. Press onto a baking sheet paper into a rectangular about 9×12-inches.
  3. Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes or until the surface is golden brown.
  4. Cut into 14 larger pieces or 28 small ones.
  5. Melt the chocolate in a water bath or microwave, drizzle the chocolate over the bars and top with, for example, orange zest, coconut flakes or flour salt.
  6. Stand back and enjoy the accolades.
