Ingredients

Bolognese

  • 1 small yellow onion
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 lb / 500 g ground beef
  • 3 tablespoons tomato purée
  • 1 tablespoon thyme
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
  • 1 cup / 2 1/4 dl (225 ml) heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup / 1 dl (100 ml) water

Zucchini pasta

  • 1 lb / 500g zucchini
  • salt
  • 3/4 cup / 1,7 dl (45 g) grated parmesan cheese
  • fresh basil

Instructions

  1. Peel and chop the onion and garlic.
  2. Add butter to a large frying pan, fry the ground beef and add the onion, garlic, tomato purée, thyme and chili flakes.
  3. Cook for a few more minutes, add the cream and water. Let it simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Spiralized the zucchini,  serve the zucchini pasta raw or cooked. 
  5. If cooked, drop the zucchini in salted boiling water for a few seconds.
  6. Top it off with parmesan and fresh basil.
